Every year on August 22, Yerevan is holding an annual Beer Festival in the very heart of the city, around Lake Sevan. On average about a dozen local breweries and beer clubs are participating in the festival, which is becoming very popular year after year. City authorities have already initiated a program to make the festival a brand event and contribute to its international promotion. It is expected that hundreds of thousands of people will be participating to the upcoming event in the August of 2018.
