The Watermelon Festival is held in the vicinity of the Swan Lake and brings Yerevan to life with bright colors and high spirits. During the event, carving specialists show off their skills in watermelon design in the pavilions of 12 administrative districts.

The festival is accompanied by concerts from popular performers. During the festival the representatives of show-business treat townspeople and the guests of the capital to watermelon.

Games and competitions are organized during the event, the winners of which are given awards by Yerevan Municipality and other partner organizations. Every year the number of surprises is increasing to make the fest more interesting.
