Drive to Jandara on the desert Steppe and follow sandy soil dirt track road undulating through the ghostly and mysterious landscape for 18km to the very famous David Gareji cave monastery on the hillside. From here, we can see views over the Azerbaijan plains and visit the old cave dwellings of the monks. After having a rest and a picnic, the road takes us 30km back to the town of Sagarejo. Drive to Sighnaghi Afterwards. Overnight in Sighnaghi.

Breakfast at the Hotel. We start the tour with visiting St. Nino’s monastery. Today’s ride is a road tour through the villages and countryside of the famous wine region Kakheti. Drive to Tsinandali for wine tasting of 5 sorts and visit the house-museum of Alexander Chavchavadze, one of the most famous writers in Georgia. Drive to Telavi. We can visit the museum of King Erekle the 2nd. Overnight in Telavi.

After breakfast, we leave Telavi for Tianeti and climb up the road that gradually disintegrates into dirt track through beautiful countryside with views of Caucasus. Ride to Jinvali. Drive to Gudauri. Overnight in Gudauri.

After breakfast, we drive to Cross Pass and ride to Kobistsikhe. Visit Sour Waters, have a stop in Kobistskali (Kobi water). After lunch, we drive to Kazbegi. Overnight in Kazbegi.

Breakfast. Ride through the shadow of the majestic peaks of Kazbegi. Afterwards, the tour continues up to the Holy Trinity Church in Gergeti. After lunch, we ride to Dariali Gorge. Visit Gveleti and descend back down. Overnight in Kazbegi.
After breakfast, we drive to Mtskheta (UNESCO Heritage Site), ancient capital of Georgian Kingdom from the 3rd century BC to the 5th century AD. Jvari Monastery (6th c.); Svetitskhoveli Cathedral built in the 11th century. Drive to Tbilisi. We will visit the Old Tbilisi Sulfur Baths, the Trinity Cathedral, Georgian Orthodox and Armenian Gregorian Churches, and a Jewish synagogue and a Turkish mosque side by side, reflecting Tbilisi’s acceptance and tolerance of different religions. Visit the Narikala Fortress. Overnight in Tbilisi.
