Day 1 Arrive In Tbilisi

Transfer to the Hotel. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 2 Tbilisi — David Gareji — Sighnaghi

After breakfast, you will drive to the semi-desert of David Gareji. David Gareji is the most important and the most beautiful monastery. The complex is a cultural and religious center with lots of cave monasteries. Here you will have the opportunity to observe the following birds: European Roller (Coraciasgarrulus), European Bee-eaters (Meropsapiaster), Hoopoe (Upupaepops), Western Rock Nuthatch (Sittaneumayer), Wallcreeper (Tychodromamuraria), Egyptian Vulture (Neophron Percnopterus), Griffon Vulture (Gyps Fulvus), Rock Sparrow (Petroniapetronia), Chukar (Alectoris Chukar). The tour will continue to Sighnaghi. Overnight in Sighnaghi

Day 3 Sighnaghi — Iori Plato — Tbiliisi

After Breakfast, drive to Bodbe Monastery (VIIIIX c.). This is the location of the grave of St. Nino. She introduced Christianity to Georgia. The tour will continue to Iori plateau. Here you can observe the following species of birds: Black Francolin (Francolinusfrancolinus), Pygmy Cormorant (MicrocarboPygmaeus), Eastern Imperial Eagle (Aquila Heliaca), Cinereous Vulture (Aegypiusmonachus), White-tailed Eagle, Short-toed Eagle (Circaetusgallicus), Roller (Coraciasgarrulus), European Bee-eater (Meropsapiaster), Hoopoe (Upupaepops), Western Rock Nuthatch (Sittaneumayer), Griffon Vulture (Gyps Fulvus), Chukar (Alectoris Chukar). Drive to Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 4  Tbilisi — Borjomi

After breakfast, you will visit Borjomi- Kharagauli National Park. Borjomi is a resort town in the southwestern part of Georgia. The city is located at the confluence of three rivers — Mtkvari, Borjomula and Gujaretistskali. The city is located at 800-900 meters above the sea level and is bordered to the east by the Borjomi- Kharagauli National Park, which includes part of the Small Caucasus. This is one of the largest national parks in Europe with numerous species of endemic flora and fauna. You can see the following birds in the park: Black Grouse or Blackgame (Tetraotetrix), Snowcocks (Tetraogallus), Golden Eagle (Aquila Cry Saetusfulva) etc. Overnight in Borjomi

Day 5 Borjomi — Kolkheti Reserve — Ureki

Breakfast at the Hotel. Drive to Kolkheti nature reserve. The landscape of the nature reserve is unique in Georgia and covers the coast of the Black Sea and Lake Paliastomi. The biological diversity of nature will impress you. This area is a paradise for hikers. Many birds use it as a winter habitat. Here you can also discover the birds that are included in the Red List. The Kolcheti National Park offers you 2 different routes: 1. Cruise on the river Churia 2. Boat ride — Paliastomi — Pichori. The tour duration is 1 day. The best route for birdwatching. This place is visited by 150 species of birds. Overnight in Ureki.

Day 6 Kolkheti National Park – Paliastomi Boat Route – Pichori – Ureki

After breakfast, cruise to Paliastomi, Pichori. Length of the trail is 18 km. Duration of the track is 3 hours. You will enjoy the look of the beautiful scenery of Lake Paliastomi and observe different species of birds. There is a place for the picnic along the river Pichori. Each boat is accompanied by a qualified ranger. Overnight in Ureki.

Day 7 Ureki – Batumi City Tour

After Breakfast, trip to Batumi. The city is located on the coast of Black Sea. The founding of the city has a long history and is connected with Greek colonists. Batumi is often considered the most beautiful city on Black Sea coast. The boulevard of the city is the longest on Black Sea. Visit the Botanical Gardens in Batumi, Gonio Fortress and in the afternoon take a walk in Batumi. Overnight in Batumi.

Day 8  Batumi – Mtskheta – Tbilisi

After breakfast, drive to Mtskheta (UNESCO Heritage Site), an ancient capital of the Georgian Kingdom from the 3rd century BC to the 5th century AD. Jvari Monastery (6th c.); Svetitskhoveli Cathedral built in the 11th century. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 9 Tbilisi City Tour

After Breakfast, return back to Tbilisi. The tour of Tbilisi stars with the Old Tbilisi Sulfur Baths, the Trinity Cathedral Georgian Orthodox and Armenian Gregorian churches as well as Jewish synagogue and Turkish mosque side by side, reflecting Tbilisi’s acceptance and tolerance of different religions. Afterwards visit Narikala Fortress. Dinner at a National restaurant in Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 10 Departure Day

Drop off at the Airport for the departure.
