Itinerary

Day 1 Yerevan

  • Arriving to Yerevan. Welcome Pick up from the Airport.
  • A city tour around the Capital, visiting major sites and popular places.
  • Welcome Dinner.
  • Transfer to Tsaghkadzor, lodging in the Hotel.

Day 2 Biking tour, Tsaghkadzor – Bjni – Tsaghkadzor

  • Breakfast at the Hotel.
  • Biking tour towards Bjni right after breakfast. Upon arrival to Bjni, an amazing picnic out in nature.
  • Leisure time, walking tour around.
  • Return to Tsaghkadzor.
  • Leisure time, dinner at the Hotel.

Day 3 Flying on Para Planes

  • Breakfast at the Hotel.
  • Departure towards lake Sevan or Mount Hatis, depending on the weather and wind conditions. Both locations are starting points for flights on Para Planes.
  • Return to Tsaghkadzor in the evening and leisure time.

Day 4 Tsaghkadzor – Haghartsin – Yenokavan – Horse Riding 

  • Breakfast at the Hotel.
  • Heading towards Yenokavan village, where we will spend the next 2 days of our journey.
  • A brief stop on the way at Haghartsin Monastery, surrounded by dense woods (included into the UNESCO World Heritage Architectural Sites)
  • Lodging in the Hotel upon arrival, leisure time.
  • Horse riding, enjoying beautiful landscapes of Tavush region.

Day 5 Zip Line – Lastivar

  • Breakfast at the Hotel.
  • Ride on Zip Line afterwards.
  • We will then make a tracking around a picturesque canyon towards Lastivar caves, mountainous river and water-fall.
  • A Master class of real Armenian barbeque by the river upon arrival.
  • Return to the Hotel, leisure time.

Day 6 SUV tour Yenokavan – Dilijan – Sevan – Yerevan

  • Breakfast at the Hotel.
  • Afterwards, an extremely entertaining SUV tour across Dilijan woods.
  • Following the SUV tour, ride on motor cater on the azure waters of Lake Sevan, where you’ll taste delicious  Sevan cray-fish.
  • Arrival to Yerevan at Night.

Day 7 Khor Virap – Noravank – Areni

  • Breakfast at the Hotel.
  • Trip to Khor Virap monastery, located at the bottom of Mount Ararat. The monastery is famous as a holy site, where the founder of Christianity in Armenia, Grigor Lusavorich (Gregory the Illuminator) was imprisoned for 12 years. He is considered the unofficial, first Catholicos in Armenian history.
  • Further on, our road leads to one of the most beautiful monuments of medieval Armenia, Noravank monastery, surrounded by high, sloppy cliffs, and red rocky mountains.
  • Completing the tour of Noravank and its surrounding areas, we will move forward towards Areni village, so called winery center of Armenia, where we will have a chance to enjoy an amazing dinner with real local meal.
  • After dinner, we will visit a cave, where recently ancient jars, vases and shoes were discovered. According to scientists, the artifacts are dating 6000 years backwards. Following the cave visit, we will visit a local wine factory and taste wine varieties.
  • Return to Yerevan in great spirits and full of emotions.

Day 8 Yerevan – Departure

  • Breakfast at the Hotel.
  • Leisure time around Yerevan, free choice of visiting oldest food market of the City, do some shopping and walking around the city’s downtown.
  • An excursion to Yerevan Brandy Factory upon request. ($25 surcharge)
  • Drop off at the Airport for departure.
